Cross that line, it is made of brine.

That was another time, a previous pine.

Crossed and out of place in no space,

Bred by beavers from bubble gum & lace.

Crssing a timely ruin still doing,

Another Wednesday spent fooling.

Dream Photo

  • where exactly: my desk in my apartment
  • written with: pen & notebook
  • when: January 17, 2008

Dreams from the Night,

Fly into my Day.

It was bullets first,

Then alligators,

Forests last, over the fly.

Gauge was there, lightly.

And then . . . .

DIE HARD 4.0 [2007] review

Die Hard 4.0 screenshot for movie review

Dude, DIE HARD 4.0 was totally ludicrous, and I loved it because it was. What’s the point of making a lone bad guy tries to bring down the world movie and making it anywhere near real? Just go all in and have “cars killing helicopters” in mid-air, fighter planes attacking semis at close range, and let Bruce Willis say “jerk off” as much as humanly possible. Add in a good geek sidekick, Justin Long of the PC & Mac ads, just enough hot chick-ness to break up the explosions, and it’s all good.

Timothy Olyphant as the bad guy would have gone totally unrecognized by me if I hadn’t seen his name in the credits. He looked 10 years younger than his Sheriff Bullock character on DEADWOOD. Looked like a kid in this movie.

Oh, and make sure you watch this in HD of some kind. I saw it in 1080p (even though my AQUOS is only 720p) and it looked spectacular.

I really love how all these myriad tech products have ports and jacks that all work with each other. Perhaps the most ludicrous thing was what kind of connection can transfer 500TB of data in that amount of time? And what portable storage device can hold 500TB of data? The answers to those questions don’t matter because Bruce Willis is going to kick your ass at your own party and get his daughter back!
