I thought Liam Neeson had been in several European set action thrillers lately, but it turns out UNKNOWN was just the second with TAKEN being the first. Still, in my mind it is already an established genre and one I like watching as entertaining Saturday night fare.
The trailer for UKNOWN is pretty effective. A man is in an accident and once able to find his wife, she does not know who he is, and in fact she already has a man with the same name as her husband. How can this be?
The mysteries of the story are kept well hidden and the people you think may be in on it are not as obvious as you might think. Plus, a Mercedes SLS AMG makes an appearance.
UNKNOWN is what you should watch if you are in the mood for a passable thriller to entertain you on a Saturday night with Liam Neeson added gravity to a character like only he can.
