PROMETHEUS was not what I expected at all. It is a very cerebral movie with moments of extended philosophical pondering dotted with explosions of violence. Only, do not expect aliens exploding out of chests all over the place, this is not that kind of movie. [Read more]

I like movies that make you feel like you are on the inside of something, movies that make you think how can a movie like this be released, is it not revealing government secrets? Then again I am sure the average CIA agent in the field in South Africa does not have days like those seen in SAFE HOUSE where Denzel Washington shows up at your door with massive secrets subdermally hidden in his butt. THE GAMBLER WORE A GUN [1961] movie review

At only 1 hour and 6 minutes THE GAMBLER WORE A GUN [1961]can hardly be called a feature length movie, but it had a very complicated plot involving the sale of a ranch and the subsequent murder of the previous owner. Made on an obviously small budget with a cast of actors with not the most fluid performances, it is still a decent western for western fans to pass a small part of an afternoon watching. [Read more]
