IN BRUGES [2008] movie review

I heard about IN BRUGES [2008] in a rather unusual way. One guy on a sports podcast I listen to every day was very big on the movie. The host of the sports podcast finally watched it on his recommendation and was very disappointed. This was enough for me not to bother trying to watch the movie, but then since HBO is still having a free trial on my cable box, when I saw it coming up I set the DVR to record it.
