Missing Scene performing at the Pink Cow

I had an extremely rare weekday night off, and even more rarely, made good use of it. After my last lesson met Mike at Shinjuku station after which we headed to the Pink Cow in Shibuya. The place was virtually empty as usual, and as usual I had the mushroom stroganoff (with golden brownie ice cream for dessert!). Despite the only people around being Mike and I, the 2-man band Missing Scene took the stage and proceeded to play about a 6-song set. The standout song was Vanessa for me.

During their first intermission Mike and I had a nice chat with Geoff and Dave. I was surprised to find out they were both English teachers! I’ll have to check out another one of their performances again soon.
